When you walk through the concrete jungle what do you see? Nothing but lines, angles, chaos, and decay. For this piece I drew inspiration from the rawness and decay of the urban landscape, people, and culture; while paying homage to times of old and new. A homage to the great pyramids of Egypt where my ancestors built monumental structures which are now one of the greatest wonders of the world. Fast forward to modern times when things, the people and the structures, have withered with time. The pyramid is a representation of my ancestors. Where we came from and the current state of our existence now.
